The research pilot "From Illness to Wellness: Photos as a tool for empowerment among older adults in mental health settings" is funded by an HNE Allied Health Research Grant.
The research is facilitated by social workers Katherine Williams and Amy Fellowes and investigates the feasibility and value of using photovoice as a visual research method in the Mental Health Unit for Older Persons. It aims to support a largely invisible cohort to share their perspectives and experiences with peers, the service and the broader population.
